New Adjuster Class


RJMW Claims Services, a leader in the property claims adjusting industry, is offering a 5 day course designed for New Adjusters. This comprehensive, hands on course covers the basics of property claims adjusting and utilizes our state of the art training house facility located in the warehouse of our corporate headquarters.

All folks interested in becoming a property claims adjuster should take this course. This course is also good for folks with some property claims experience but who have never worked for RJMW before or for adjusters returning to the claims business who need a refresher on the claims process.

This class is not designed for preparation of any state Adjusters licensing exam. You do not have to be a licensed Adjuster to attend this class. This class will not certify you to work claims in any state or certify you to work claims for a specific Insurance Carrier. Taking this class does not guarantee that you will work claims for RJMW.

Course Content

Course content includes instructions for working a claim start to finish including claim setup, contact procedures, the inspection process, construction material identification, determining a scope of loss, taking measurements, photography techniques, applying coverage, writing an estimate, completing a narrative report, claim submission and much more. Instruction focuses on Xactimate estimating software with a preview of Symbility estimating software.

  • Laptop computer with Xactimate 28 installed on it
  • External Computer Mouse
  • Digital Camera
  • Calculator
  • Tape measure - min. 30 ft.
  • Note pad, clipboard, pens, highlighter
  • Rubber soled shoes for climbing training house roof


Additional Details

  • Dress code is business casual- no jeans, shorts or tennis shorts
  • All Lodging and Transportation will be at your own expense
  • This course does not offer any continuing education credits

Cost Of the Class


Cancellation

Cancellations received 10 or more days prior to seminar date will be refunded in full, less a $25 processing fee. Any cancellations less than 10 days from the start of the event will be subject to 50% cancellation fee. Registration fees are transferable to another person with advanced written notification. Registration fees are not transferable to another date or topic without registrant’s written request and RJMW written approval.
